The HFMA Awards programme has established itself as the key awards event for the healthcare finance profession, recognising the vital contribution that finance staff play in the delivery of high quality, cost effective healthcare across the UK. Plymouth Teaching PCT wins national "Excellence in Benchmarking" award
Plymouth Teaching PCT has become just one of three PCTs to win an Excellence in Benchmarking award this year. The award was presented by the NHS Benchmarking Network.

ALE score success for Somerset PCT
With the support of NHS SBS, the PCT has moved its Auditors Local Evaluation (ALE) score for Financial Reporting from a 1 to 4, meaning that it is ranked by the Audit Commission as 'well above minimum requirements – performing strongly'. It was also a featured case study for good practice in the ALE documents.

Bromley Primary Care Trust (PCT) has won the Health Financial Management Association's Financial Management Award at this year's HFMA awards. The awards recognise best practice in healthcare management with an emphasis on finance.
